President Barack Obama Names Steve Olsher Director of Newly-Formed Department of Hope & Inspiration March 31st, 2011
Washington, D.C. – It has been officially announced that Steve Olsher, author of USA Book News’ 2010 “Self-Help Book of the Year,” Journey To You: A Step-by-Step Guide to Becoming Who You Were Born to Be, founder of The Reinvention Workshop, and host of Reinvention Radio, has been appointed to the position of Director of the newly-created Department of Hope & Inspiration.

“We need a man like Steve Olsher at the helm of the government’s initiative to revitalize our people and leverage the strength of America’s human capital to propel our wonderful country back to the forefront of the world’s stage,” said President Obama.
As part of his duties, Olsher will be directly responsible for:
Creating programs and initiatives to inspire and educate the public.
Embracing and employing technology to empower the youth of America.
Leveraging the experience and talents of seniors to develop new ventures.
Establishing mentorship programs for aspiring entrepreneurs and teachers.
Spearheading private/public partnerships that focus on career development.
“I am honored and humbled to serve the President and the people of the United States,” says Steve Olsher. “I look forward to getting our citizens fired up about life, clear about who they were born to be, and provide the tools, shortcuts, and materials required in order to make an inordinate difference both in their lives and the lives of others.”
In order for the appointment to be finalized, President Obama has requested that 2,500 copies of Steve’s book, Journey To You, be sold by April 3rd, 2011 via Amazon.com.
“This is a crucially important juncture we face in the history of America,” said Mr. Obama. “Steve’s book will absolutely help create more leaders ready to make a difference. In order for the appointment to be finalized, I have asked Steve to validate that America is ready for his message and leadership. Such validation and subsequent creation of this Department will be based on the sale of 2,500 copies of his book by April 3, 2011.”
